It was great to see so many local families join us this week as we had fun with craft and food. On Wednesday the dish of the day was fruit and children and adults got to design and make their own fruit kebabs. Thursday's session was all about pizzas. Once again, people got the chance to design their own food before creating and cooking some exciting pitta pizzas.
Thanks to everyone who got involved. There will be another family food club this Monday (6th June) why not drop in and join the fun?
The doors to The LS14 Trust were closed for the week as staff and volunteers worked together to transform the digital lounge and cafe space. Carpets were torn up, new counters and desks were crafted and walls quite literally came tumbling down.
In preparation for our community food project we set out to create an exciting space where people can get together. Using reclaimed wood and recycled furniture we have really hard to create a welcoming place. (You can see the transformation below.
A big thank you to everyone involved.
