Students at Grange Farm School helped us to create an outdoor gallery for our Easter weekend festivities. Over 75 local people took part in the Rein Park Roam that was funded by gowalking and they encountered some fantastic poetry and art created by students from years 4, 5 and 6 at Grange Farm Primary School. Students were asked to give us their thoughts on how we could improve Rein Park and how we could work together to make these improvements. This was a really positive experience and the students had some fantastic ideas. We also asked the students to write some poetry, and once again, they had some brilliant ideas and created some wonderful poetry. |
Over the Easter weekend, we displayed the students thoughts, ideas and poems in the park. Huge banners and photo frames exhibiting poems and ideas were put up between trees for everyone to view. There were many comments on the quality of the poetry and the ideas that our young people at Grange Farm had come up with.
Thanks to all the students at Grange Farm who played their part in creating the Grange Farm Gallery.
