Students at Grange Farm School helped us to create an outdoor gallery for our Easter weekend festivities. Over 75 local people took part in the Rein Park Roam that was funded by gowalking and they encountered some fantastic poetry and art created by students from years 4, 5 and 6 at Grange Farm Primary School. Students were asked to give us their thoughts on how we could improve Rein Park and how we could work together to make these improvements. This was a really positive experience and the students had some fantastic ideas. We also asked the students to write some poetry, and once again, they had some brilliant ideas and created some wonderful poetry. |

Families and friends in Seacroft got together to take part in a tea dance this Easter Saturday. The gathering was held at St Richard's Church Hall and people of all of ages, ate, drank and played games as they whiled away the afternoon. The event was held to celebrate the conclusion of the Winter Warmers classes that have been led by Joanne at the LS14 Trust. The last few months has seen local people get together on a weekly basis to combat those cold winter months. All those involved, have learnt new skills such as T-Shirt printing and crochet. Perhaps most importantly, they have also shared food, drink and experiences with others. |
