THE TRUSTEES
Tim Jones
Tim moved to Seacroft with his wife Becky in 2006. Born and brought up in Leicester, Tim dreamed of representing his local football club as a tough, uncompromising centre back. When he realized the Foxes had far too much quality for him to break into the first team and when even Leeds United turned him down, he gave up his footballing dreams and got a job as a cocktail barman. He now works in the Voluntary Sector for a small national charity with a base in Leeds. Tim’s strengths lie in his passion for community development and his ability to sit on the fence for long periods of time.

Martin Pearson
Martin first discovered Seacroft when he began helping out at a local youth group in 2005. He and his wife Helen loved LS14 so they decided to move in as landlords of The Gate, realizing a lifelong ambition of running a pub. They now live in Oakwood, making Martin the only board member who doesn’t currently live in LS14. Despite this, the other committee members are very happy to have a trained accountant on board.

Shaun Cohen
Shaun was born in Leeds but is an accidental Seacroft resident who can't imagine living anywhere else. After several years of youth and community work, Shaun became a civil servant but never lost his interest in local activity. He has a passion for local history and is currently researching the radical history of Leeds form the 1790s onwards. Shaun thinks crown green bowling should be an Olympic sport and would love to see a green in Seacroft.
